Art Show Guide

Artists need to eat too. They can't simply lock themselves up in a room for weeks on end creating fine works of art. But how do artists sell their works? Through art shows, of course. Aside from their works, art shows bring bread and fame on the artist's table.

An art show is an event where art objects--in the most general sense--are put up on display to an audience, the guests. It is understood that most art shows are temporary. Unless in rare cases, when the art show is announced to be a permanent one.

In art shows, there are art show guides. The term art show guide could mean two things. The first one refers to an art show staff responsible for guiding the guests throughout the exhibit, explaining things here and there about the artist or details about each individual art piece. They have much the same with museum guides, you can say that.

The second meaning refers to any reading material about art shows, be it a guide on how to start up your own art show, or a brochure about a particular art show taking place in the area. You'll never get lost in an art show with a proper art show guide in hand.
